On Monday August 24, 2009 Bart Gordon meet at a Murfreesboro Community Center with anyone desiring face to face discussions. During this meeting Congressman Gordon fielded questions from every individual some several times.  In his responses he played the consummate politician and spun every response as professionally as anyone I have ever witnessed.  However Congressman Gordon was not prepared for many of his questioners to be better versed on the H.R. 3200 Bill than he was.  When he would make a point during his retort he would often come face to face with constituents that were more familiar with the bill than he was.  Congressman Gordon on several occasions appeared very flustered and honestly looked as though he was wishing he was anywhere else than meeting with us.  I must give him credit though for in fact meeting with ALL of those who came to meet with him.
